This is the first time that the Philadelphia Coaches Conference is presenting this award – and its recipient is more than deserving after accumulating over two decades of athletic success.
Since taking over the helm of the Patriots program in 2000, Lorraine Beers has coached her team to 22 consecutive Philadelphia Catholic League titles ---- an incredible run that started in 2001. The 2020 season, of course, was cancelled because of Covid. This week, top seed Carroll is playing in the PCL semifinals!
Her diligence, motivation, steady hand, and patience has guided countless players to continue their academic and athletic careers to play at Division 1, 2 and 3 institutions.
In addition to her 22 straight PCL titles, Lorraine has also guided her team to win three consecutive PIAA State Championships and four overall.
