Elizabeth Taylor
Elizabeth Taylor, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sport and Recreation Management at Temple University. Her work broadly centers on diversity and inclusion within the sport industry, specifically as it relates to gender discrimination and homophobia; sexual harassment and sexual assault education; and organizational culture within intercollegiate athletic departments. Taylor has over 40 peer-reviewed articles in journals such as the Journal of Sport Management, Sport Management Review, Women in Sport & Physical Activity Journal, and the Journal of Intercollegiate Sport. Dr. Taylor has been quoted in top news outlets such as USA Today and The Washington Post.
Dr. Taylor was a two-sport athlete (volleyball and track/field) at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Following her playing career she transitioned to coaching and served two years as a graduate assistant volleyball coach at Miami University(OH). Currently, Taylor is an assistant coach at Swarthmore College.
