Foster McKoskey is the founder of McKoskey Mentoring LLC, which is based in Philadelphia. He developed this company with the help of his brother Keegan McKoskey, both of whom are former college athletes. At McKoskey Mentoring we take pride in helping athletes achieve their goals while also guiding them to find the best fit in a school and athletic program. Foster has over nine years of experience combined in the areas of high school and collegiate coaching and recruiting, athletic administration, teaching, educational leadership, college admissions, and mental performance coaching. Foster earned his B.S. in Kinesiology and his M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. He has extensive experience in the roles of educator, coach, and athletic director in our backyard at the School District of Philadelphia as well as an assistant baseball coach at USciences. Additionally, Foster has gained experience working as an admissions counselor at Thomas Jefferson University. He is also a certified Mental Game Coaching Professional (MGCP) who helps athletes improve their mental skills both on and off the field. Some of his clients include athletes at the high school, collegiate, & MiLB levels. His experience and expertise in various areas allow him to equip athletes with the best practices to improve their performance, while maintaining a positive mindset, proactive confidence, and balance. He offers Mental Skills Coaching for athletes one-on-one, Team Sessions, and for Businesses.
McKoskey Mentoring recently published the “McKoskey Mentoring’s Student-Athlete Handbook” to help student-athletes, particularly baseball, through the academic and athletic recruiting process. This is an organized tool that athletes can use as a guide for all 4 years in high school to assist in choosing the best school and athletic program for the individual student. The handbook previously placed #1 in Top New Releases in Academic Development Counseling on Amazon, #1 in Top New Releases in Vocational Guidance on Amazon, was listed as an Amazon Best Seller, and was recently featured in “Philadelphia Rowhome Magazine”. McKoskey is currently working on a new Mental Skills Notebook for athletes that will be available soon!
