Gabe Infante
Infante has been the head football coach at St. Joseph’s Prep since 2010 compiling a 65-21 record (.756 winning percentage) in seven seasons at the Prep while capturing 3 of the last 4 state titles in Pennsylvania including the 2016 6A State Title and back to back titles in 2014 & 2013. All three teams finished number 1 in Pennsylvania and as high as 6th nationally. In 2017 Infante was named U.S. Army Bowl National Coach of the Year. On January 16, 2017 he served as the Head Coach of the U-17 National team which defeated the Japanese national team 44-7 in AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas.
A two-time Don Shula High School Coach of the Year nominee, Infante is a member of USA Football's Advisory Committee and is a Master Trainer in USA Football’s Heads Up program. Infante travels around the country conducting player safety clinics and helps promote the program’s techniques and benefits to youth and high school coaches. He and the Prep program were featured in a segment on NFL Network on the subject. Philadelphia Magazine featured Coach Infante’s unique approach to coaching in a 2015 article. He clinics nationally for Nike, Glazier, and Hammer Strength and has been published by American Football Monthly.
In 2014 Infante was the Head Coach of the East squad of the U.S. Army All American game. In 2012 he served as the defensive coordinator for the East. Prior to his time at the Prep, Infante served as the head football coach at Paramus Catholic and was the defensive coordinator at Bergen Catholic. In 2010 Infante was selected by the American Football Coaches Association to be the defensive coordinator for the USA Junior National Team, which defeated a World team in an all-star game.
In addition to his performance on the field, Infante has overseen a renovation of the school’s weight room and the construction of the school’s first practice facility. He continues to lead annual football summer service projects that have served the people of Alabama, Virginia, Michigan, Ohio, and Georgia. In his time at the Prep, several players have earned spots on college teams, including the Penn State, Virginia, Michigan, University of Florida, Harvard University, Cornell, Princeton, MIT and Johns Hopkins University.
Infante is a graduate of New York Law School and is a licensed attorney in the state of New Jersey. In addition to his coaching duties at the Prep, Infante is the Associate Athletic Director of Athletic Performance.
